At Penwood, we firmly believe the Custom Cabinetry ordering process should be easy and straightforward! Here's a breakdown of the process in 4 easy steps:
We ask you to provide us with a basic layout that includes wall measurements, ceiling height, and window/door placement to initiate your project. For new construction projects, we prefer receiving blueprints in DWG format from an architect, but they are not necessary. Existing kitchen plans drafted from software such as 2020 are great. As you can see below, we even accept hand drawn sketches as a starting point.
2. If you have any specific requests for your kitchen or bathroom, be sure to create a list for us. If you find inspiration online, we ask you to share the actual website links with us so we can take a closer look. Our drafting team will use your ideas to create an initial 3D draft using our Cabinet Vision software. 3. Once we have completed the initial draft of your custom cabinet design, we will send it to you for your review and approval. We value your input and encourage you to request any changes you may need to ensure the design meets your expectations. 4. After you are comfortable with the design and all requested changes have been included, we ask for your final approval signature. After receiving your final approval signature, we will promptly add your project to our production calendar. This ensures that your custom cabinetry project is scheduled and built in a timely manner. Please know we are very committed to meeting agreed upon project deadlines!
Below are two illustrative renderings crafted by our drafting team. The goal is to provide you with an authentic preview of your kitchen after it's fully installed! This 1st project is loaded with optional components!
